Position Overview
They are seeking a Senior Wet Utilities Design Engineer professional with a minimum of 8 years of experience in infrastructure projects, including at least 2 years within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. This pivotal role involves the meticulous planning, design, and execution of wet utilities systems, encompassing water supply, wastewater, stormwater, and irrigation networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive designs for wet utilities systems, ensuring adherence to both local and international standards.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams—including civil, mechanical, and electrical engineers—to integrate wet utilities systems into broader infrastructure projects.
- Ensure all designs and projects comply with relevant regulations, codes, and standards specific to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
- Engage with clients, contractors, government agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and expectations are managed.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, project documentation, and as-built drawings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is advantageous.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in wet utilities engineering within infrastructure projects, with at least 2 years in the GCC region.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and relevant hydraulic modeling software.
- In-depth understanding of water supply, wastewater, stormwater, and irrigation systems, with familiarity with UAE regulations and standards.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is advantageous.
