Position Overview
AtkinsRéalis are seeking an experienced and talented Senior Dry Utilities Engineer (Resident Engineer) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 7 to 10 years of proven experience in managing and overseeing the construction and commissioning of overground stations within metro or large-scale infrastructure projects. In this role, you will ensure that project execution meets technical specifications, timelines, and stringent safety standards, while effectively coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and the design team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for large-scale, multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
- Support bid preparation for both single and multi-disciplinary projects with a focus on winning competitive contracts.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, securing repeat business and identifying new opportunities.
- Lead and motivate project teams, demonstrating exemplary leadership and team-building skills.
- Monitor and report on project performance, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality standards.
- Ensure strict compliance with Health & Safety regulations and foster a safety-oriented culture within the team.
- Contribute technical expertise to diverse, high-profile engineering projects.
- Assist in design reviews and budgeting, driving projects from tender through to successful delivery.
- Enhance internal and external networking to strengthen business connections.
Requirements
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 12 years’ experience in a similar role managing large-scale projects.
- Excellent interpersonal, technical writing, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with software tools such as ArcGIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, Dialux Softea, and Revit/BIM is an advantage.
- Ability to effectively process and analyze both electronic and paper documentation.
- Must be able to clearly communicate both orally and in writing and be willing to visit project sites as needed.
