Job Overview
JASARA PMC is seeking a skilled and motivated Design Wet Utilities Engineer to join their team. In this key role, you will be responsible for the design and development of wet utility systems, including potable water supply, wastewater management, and stormwater drainage. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and regulatory authorities to deliver innovative, sustainable, and code-compliant infrastructure solutions. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to major development projects across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and optimize wet utility systems, including water distribution, wastewater networks, and stormwater drainage.
- Prepare engineering drawings, technical specifications, and design reports in accordance with project requirements.
- Perform hydraulic and hydrological modeling to evaluate and enhance system performance.
- Coordinate with civil, structural, and MEP engineers to integrate utility designs within broader project scopes.
- Ensure designs are compliant with local and international codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in site assessments, feasibility studies, and technical reviews.
- Support the project team in managing timelines, budgets, and quality assurance measures.
- Provide technical documentation and assist in presenting proposals to stakeholders and authorities.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices in wet utility engineering.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in designing wet utility systems.
- Strong knowledge of water supply, sanitary drainage, and stormwater system design.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and hydraulic modeling tools (e.g., EPANET, SWMM, WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS).
- Solid understanding of design principles, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Proven track record in delivering designs on time and within budget.
- Familiarity with Saudi regulations and international standards in wet utility infrastructure is highly preferred.
