WSP are currently seeking a BIM Manager to develop and deliver structured BIM models, lead teams, and ensure the successful execution of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain BIM execution plans for each project, specifying requirements and deliverables for each project phase.
- Lead and coordinate BIM meetings with project teams, including design and construction teams, to ensure effective use of BIM throughout the project.
- Manage and mentor a team of BIM coordinators and modelers, offering guidance to ensure adherence to BIM standards and procedures.
- Review BIM models and data for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project requirements.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure the effective use of BIM for design coordination and communication.
- Work closely with the construction team to optimize the use of BIM for construction coordination, scheduling, and sequencing.
- Provide BIM training and support to team members as required.
- Evaluate and recommend new BIM technologies and tools to enhance project delivery and efficiency.
- Participate in project presentations and client meetings, offering expertise on BIM methodologies, tools, and techniques.
- Ensure proper management and archiving of BIM data for future use.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in BIM management, including at least 5 years managing BIM on large-scale construction projects.
- Extensive knowledge of BIM technologies, tools, and methodologies.
- Proficiency in BIM authoring tools such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
- Experience with BIM data management and interoperability tools like BIM 360, ProjectWise, and Solibri.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
